(01.02.14) Acentia Expands Business Development Team

FALLS CHURCH, VA – January 2, 2014 – Acentia today announced it has hired Gary Stegman and Liz Renninger to support customer accounts and business development growth in the Health and Civilian markets.

 

Stegman serves as Senior Capture Executive for Acentia’s Health sector. Prior to joining Acentia, he was the Vice President of Business Development for Planned Systems International, overseeing all business development, capture, marketing, and proposal activities in both the domestic and international markets. There Stegman positioned the company to win several large contracts and task orders with values in excess of $100 million. He also defined strategic targets for company growth and led the development of market penetration strategies for those targets.

 

Previous to his role at Planned Systems International, Stegman served as a Director of Proposals and Capture at ViPS, a General Dynamics Information Technology company. There he led the proposal and capture activities with a focus on healthcare and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Stegman was responsible for leading and winning the pursuit of several key large-scale CMS programs, as well as for defining divisional growth strategies.

 

Renninger joins Acentia as Vice President, Business Development for the company’s Civilian and Defense sector. Prior to Acentia, she served as Corporate Vice President of Business Development at CACI where she worked closely with CACI executives in six operational business groups to position the company for new business and recompete wins. Renninger has held several positions in the IT industry as sales manager and individual contributor responsible for the identification and capture of strategic business opportunities.

 

Renninger was awarded Corporate Business Development Manager of the Year at CACI in 2006 and led the business development efforts for over $800 Million in new wins at the State Department, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Treasury, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Veterans Affairs (VA).
