InSysCo Awarded $68-Million, 5-year Contract from Internal Revenue Service View Edit Webform Results

Falls Church, Va. (June 30, 2014) – InSysCo, an Acentia company, today announced it was awarded a 5-year, $68-million contract by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under the Total Information Processing Support Services (TIPSS-4) contract vehicle. The company will continue to provide services in evolving database, data warehouse, and data mart technologies to support the IRS’s IT Data Delivery Services (DDS) organization under Applications Development.

InSysCo will work in partnership with DDS to evolve the IRS to a data-centric organization, leveraging the advances of commodity computing, networking, and parallel database systems for data delivery. InSysCo will assist in identifying and developing data delivery service models; maintain and enhance the current technical components and processes; and assist in building new components and processes in support of the IRS’ Data Strategy.

DDS was established to centralize the responsibility for delivery and maintenance of the IRS’s data solutions. Both CADE 2 Database Implementation (DI) and the Integrated Production Model (IPM) are two major initiatives that are managed under the DDS organization and are foundational components for the Service’s data-centric future.

In addition to this award, InSysCo currently provides software development, modernization, and operations and maintenance on a number of IRS contracts.
